Star Systems was a technical member of the TSA Baggage Screening Investment Study which resulted in the publication of the TSA’s “Planning Guidelines and Design Standards for Checked Baggage Inspections Systems, released in October 2007. In addition, Star Systems is a member of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) and Airport Co-operative Research Program (ACRP) responsible for developing an Airport Passenger Terminal Planning Guidebook planned for release in 2009.
